Building Excellence, Maintaining trust.

I’m someone who finds real joy in working with my hands — creating projects that are built to last and built with care. There’s something deeply satisfying about shaping materials into something tangible and enduring, and that’s the energy I bring to every project.

I spent years remodeling older homes with my father, and building my own house caused me to realize my real passion for building. Before shifting into hands‑on work, I spent over 15 years in the health care policy arena at both the federal and state levels. That chapter shaped me in important ways: it sharpened my communication skills, strengthened my ability to manage complex projects, and taught me how to navigate challenges with clarity and purpose. Those strengths now show up in my craftsmanship — from thoughtful planning to transparent communication to delivering work that stands the test of time.

Today, I’m channeling that experience into a new kind of problem‑solving: building with intention, learning constantly, and challenging my mind in fresh ways. Whether it’s a small repair or a larger project, I approach each job with the same values — quality, integrity, and a genuine desire to create something that solves problems or brings joy.

View of Seattle from Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge Island is home for my family, and being part of this community is a commitment I take seriously. As a father of two kids at Halilts, I’m invested in the future of this place. When I’m not building, you’ll usually find me outside, soaking up the trails, water, and wild spaces that make this island special.
